Verify a gear accuracy grade against the named standard and edition, the specific deviation limits and the inspection report for the delivered gear. PairGears states capability up to ISO 1328 Grade 4, but a supplier must confirm feasibility for the exact gear geometry, material, heat treatment, quantity and inspection scope. A grade number by itself is not enough evidence.
Check the standard, report and measurement basis
- Name the reference: state the standard, edition and tolerance class. ISO 1328-1:2013 defines a flank-tolerance classification system and allowable values for cylindrical involute gears.
