Does PairGears offer a warranty for its products? What is the warranty period?
Yes. PairGears provides a 6-month limited warranty for parts manufactured by PairGears. During the warranty period, if a failure is caused by a manufacturing defect, we will arrange repair or replacement at no charge (subject to claim review). Limited warranties commonly cover defects in materials/workmanship and exclude misuse or improper handling.
What’s Covered
Our warranty is intended to protect you from issues that come from how the part was made—for example, a confirmed manufacturing defect that leads to premature failure within the warranty window.
If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, we will provide free repair or replacement. The exact remedy may depend on the part status and logistics, but we aim to resolve it quickly and keep your line running.
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Human error, misuse, neglect, or improper installation/operation
• Unauthorized modification or repair
• Normal wear, accidents, or damage after receipt/handling
These exclusions are standard in many “limited warranty” terms.

When does the 6 months start?
By default, the warranty period is counted from the delivery date (or as defined in your PO/contract). For project-based supply, we can align the start point to your receiving/acceptance procedure if you specify it during ordering.
Practical tip: if you require “warranty from installation/commissioning,” tell us upfront so it can be written into the order terms.
How to file a warranty claim
1. Send your PO number / part number / batch or lot information
2. Share photos/videos, failure description, and operating conditions
3. Provide any inspection data you have (dimensional checks, hardness, gear measurement, etc.)
4. We review and respond with the next action (repair/replacement/return analysis)
To prevent the accidental delivery of non-conforming components, we follow documented non-conforming product control procedures, including identification, isolation, disposal and QA release.
